After teasing its upcoming collaboration with animation studio Laika ahead of the arrival of Missing Link, Nike has now officially revealed the Missing Link x Nike Air Max Susan. The sneaker — designed by Tinker Hatfield and former animator Michael Berger — is inspired by the movie’s protagonist Mr. Link, and transfers his plaid suit onto an Air Max 1 silhouette.

Speaking about the collaboration, Tinker Hatfield explained that “the Air Max 1 has always been a really uplifting, happy design. When I saw the film, I immediately felt Mr. Link was instantly lovable — he’s happy-go-lucky, the type to stop and smell the flowers. So, he’s got a certain chill that for me made sense with the silhouette.”

The Missing Link x Nike Air Max Susan is set to release on April 9, with the Missing Link movie slated to hit theaters just three days later.
