Marking a shift from its focus in V8 and electric models, Mercedes-AMG has released its “Final Edition” of the highly-coveted classic 6L V12 S-Class Sedan, the S65. Limited to only 130 worldwide, the luxury vehicle is an iconic addition to any wealthy individual’s collection. Housing a Biturbo 6L v12 engine under its bonnet, the S65 is capable of an output of 621 horsepower and a maximum of 738 pound-feet at 2300-4300 rpm. It can also reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

The elegant model comes exclusively in a high-gloss obsidian black metallic paint finish, complimented with 20-inch forged copper multi-spoke wheels, and a unique matte bronze finish for its air-inlet grilles. The tailpipe trims come in high-gloss black to reinforce its luxurious status, with the sedan is topped off by an AMG crest on its C-pillar.

Inside, the upholstery is made in exclusive black Nappa leather with copper-colored stitching, with trim elements in high-quality carbon fiber and streaks of copper-colored threads that tie together the whole aesthetic of the vehicle. An edition badge showing “1 of 130” can be found on the center console, demarcating the car’s limited-edition number.

The “Final Edition” also includes all the packages any Mercedes fan could dream of, from the MAGIC SKY CONTROL panoramic roof, to the Warmth & Comfort package — seen in the First Class rear suite, and the 12 electric motors that tailor each seat precisely to the occupant’s desires — this S65 has it all.

In other Mercedes-AMG news, the company has just released its GT R Roadster.
