Nike's Air Max 90 Goes Neutral in "Cool Grey"
A sleek upgrade for the classic runner.
Following up on an all-black rendition of the Air Max 90 Essential, Nike updates the ’90s runner in a new “Cool Grey/White” colorway. Bearing a stealthy, dark gray appearance throughout the entire shoe, the subtle details in the design help this iteration stay interesting. Smooth leather panels sits alongside checkered and diagonal patterns, adding some depth on the upper while maintaining comfort and durability. On the bottom, the rubber sole with its signature Air-Sole unit and cushioning blend in seamlessly with the upper. Meanwhile, the white Air Max and Swoosh branding on the side and heel add in elements that contrast nicely with the rest of the shoe.
This Air Max 90 Essential is available at Nike and other retailers now for $110 USD. Nike also recently revealed its “Tokyo Neon Collection” featuring two Air Max colorways.
