After ending their eponymous late-night series on Viceland, Desus and Mero are officially back on the airwaves. Back in July 2018, their split from Vice ended hastily when the network cancelled the show just two months before the contract expired. In an interview with Bossip, Desus revealed that Vice was bitter over the team’s plans to leave for Showtime and decided to abruptly cut ties after a successful two-year run.

Now the time has finally arrived for the Bodega Boys’ debut on Showtime as they continue their signature banter over the latest news and bring on notable guests to interview. In the series premiere, after sounding off on current events ranging from Barack Obama and Steph Curry’s town hall to Zion Williamson’s shoe mishap-led injury Representative and Twitter-favorite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez makes a guest appearance. The duo also makes a visit to AOC’s office in D.C., where they sit down with Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. Take a look at the full first episode which has been made available on YouTube, and catch all-new episodes of Desus & Mero on Thursdays at 11pm ET.

In case you missed it, be sure to also watch as Desus and Mero take on the “Hot Ones” challenge.
