Having already seen leaked photos of the gold-speckled AF1 last week, we now get a look at the latest edition to Nike‘s 2019 HBL (Greater China’s High School Basketball League) Pack; a manga-themed Air Max 720 SATRN.
Vibrant “Team Orange” comes in the form of zipper guards and stripes flowing vertically to the ankle, moving down into the elongated 720 Air sole unit. Most of the upper is then covered with dramatic manga-themed graphics, featuring all things basketball, akin to the popular Slam Dunk series from the ’90s. The rest of the paneling is done in a simple black, providing a stark contrast to the bright orange while complimenting the black and white anime graphics. The sneaker is finished with a Nike Basketball logo on the tongue and the insole, consistent with the hoops-themed graphic-abundant aesthetic.
The manga-themed Nike Air Max 720 SATRN will be available sometime in the coming weeks on Greater China’s SNKRS app very soon.
In related news, Nike Basketball just unveiled its second colorway for the Adapt BB.
