Gucci Fuses Its Flashtrek Sneaker With a Chunky Sandal for SS19
A summer staple.
Gucci has combined its now infamous Flashtrek sneaker with a chunky-soled sandal silhouette for Spring/Summer 2019.
Coming in both “Grey/Black/Grey Reflective” and “White/White/Grey Reflective,” the socks-and-sandals-ready look is a hybrid piece that can take you from the catwalk to coast. The sandal continues Gucci’s loud logomania design language with a large Gucci rubber velcro strap adorning the top of the pair, while the back of the shoe receives a minimal slingback adjustable strap.
Sitting atop a 1.4 inch-tall sole unit, the sandal is finished with tactical-looking rope laces, “25” embroidery on the lateral sides, Gucci-branded leather insoles and a price tag of $890 USD. Head over to the Gucci site to take a closer look at the luxury Italian brands hybrid offering.
