adidas Football has debuted a new pack celebrating 25 years of its iconic Predator silhouette. To mark the anniversary — featuring football boots and apparel — adidas has taken inspiration from two of the most iconic footballers to ever wear the Predator: David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane.
Both Beckham and Zidane have new archive packs, reworking an iconic boot from their career. For Zidane, this is the 1998 Predator Accelerator from the season he won the Ballon d’Or. This boot comes with a gold K-leather upper with blue, red and white details and four different lace options.
For the David Beckham Archive Pack, adidas has reworked the Predator Precision worn by the former England captain in 2001. For this recreation, the boot is set to come with all-white K-leather upper, which is offset by the iconic Predator red tongue. The boot will be available with either white or red laces.
As well as the two Archive Pack Predator boots — which come as either a trainer or on-pitch — adidas is also set to drop a jersey, shirt and pant that reference Real Madrid‘s 2003/04 kit, a season that both Beckham and Zidane played for the Spanish club. The two archive packs will be released on March 7.
Lastly, adidas has taken influence from both Beckham and Zidane for a new take on the Predator 19+. Wrapped in a striking gold colorwy, the boot also features embroidery of the players. The new Predator 19+ collection is due to hit the adidas web store and select retailers on March 12.
