Fendi "JoKarl" Graphic Tee Keeps Karl Lagerfeld's Spirit Alive
A stylish joker.
As the industry continues reeling from the recent passing of Karl Lagerfeld, his spirits lives on in the likes of Chanel and Fendi, fashion houses he helmed as creative director for decades on end. As Spring/Summer 2019 product trickles in, the latter brings forth a playful “JoKarl” graphic T-shirt right in time to immortalize the famed designer.
The JoKarl Fashion Show tee is offered in short-sleeved and long-sleeved silhouettes, with black and white base options for both. A humorous “JoKarl” illustration — designed by Italian artist Nico Vascellari — takes centerstage, depicting Lagerfeld as the joker on a playing card complete with a jester costume and his notorious dark sunglasses. On the long-sleeved edition, drawings of dice with Fendi’s “FF” logo line the sleeves. The back of each style features a smaller version of the “JoKarl” card as an additional branding patch.
Priced between $590 USD- $690 USD, the shirts can be purchased now from Fendi.com, as well as select retailers like SSENSE.
