Buzzy British label AFFIX returns for Spring/Summer 2019 with a variety of accessible, workwear-inspired layering pieces. Designed by Kiko Kostadinov, stylist Stephen Mann, artist Taro Ray and Gimme Five founder Michael Kopelman, the collection’s unmissable branding and industrial-inspiration yields a unique fusion of workwear with street aesthetics.

Essentials, like hoodies and long-sleeved T-shirts, are emblazoned with bold-face AFFIX branding on the rear, occasionally emblazoned on the front for good measure. Contrasting hues give the prints extra impact; for instance, safety orange sweaters sport bold yellow text, complementing the bright stylized branding placed at the chest of a forest green T-shirt.

Two “Public Service” jacket-and-pant sets sport bright panels beneath jet pockets for maximum visibility, crafted from recycled polyester for both wrinkle resistance and sustainability purposes. Meanwhile, the PDU pullover and pant offer elastic hems and blacked-out detailing for easy styling day-to-day. To round out the drop, a bevy of branded caps are on hand, ranging from mixed-material headgear to nylon curved-brims.

AFFIX’s new collection is available via stockists like SSENSE and Dover Street Market London.

Recently, Kim Jones credited Kopelman’s Gimme Five imprint for leaving an indelible imprint on his fashion career.
