Riot Division's SS19 "Singularity" Collection Delivers Versatile Techwear

A unique amalgamation of form and function.

Riot Division returns for Spring/Summer 2019 with a military-driven techwear aesthetic that has been perfected season-upon-season by the Ukranian-based label.

The strong industrial theme throughout the collection is carried through into the interpretive lookbook, one which combines a functional viewpoint of the clothing with an artistic lens. Titled “Singularity,” the collection expands on its one “small change can cause a large effect” prophecy, seeing another drop of versatile pieces.

Standouts from the SS19 collection include the Ultimate City Jacket — which transforms into different lengths and into an oversized side bag when needed — as well as four-pocket cargo pants in khaki. The collections outerwear and trousers have a nod to parachuting gear, and the samurai and magnetic belts further lend themselves to the techwear theme thanks to their unique rollercoaster fastenings.

Away from jackets and trousers, the collection is rounded off with a selection of techwear-tinged sweaters and a number of graphic T-shirts, most notably of which is a custom Riot Division Molotov print.
