A Ma Maniere follows up on its numerous teasers by officially announcing its collaboration with Jordan Brand on the Proto-Max 720. The sneaker–and accompanying campaign–pays respect to Atlanta and its cultural impact on history, music, fashion and art.
Spotlighted in an editorial featuring T.I., the A Ma Maniere x Jordan Proto-Max 720 “Atlanta Nights” combines Nike’s latest Air technology with a flexible, fully-3M upper. Flight utility and A Ma Maniere graphics appear on the tongue and heel tabs, secret “A Over Everything” messaging is featured on the air bubble, and, most notably, the sneakers sole glows in the dark. Overall, the collaboration is a special pair that nods to Atlanta’s iconic nightlife scene, executing this through a design that’s both sophisticated and effortlessly part of the city’s late-night subculture.
The editorial photoshoot sees T.I. looking suitably dapper in an array of outfits, from A Ma Maniere hoodies, to a clean all-black urban utility look. Multiple off-duty looks showcase the sneakers versatility, seen in the smart-casual paring with the inclusion of a long-line coat.
