Bstroy Drops Fifth Anniversary Capsule Ahead of SS19 Collection
Inverted and dark symbolism featured throughout.

Bstroy celebrates its fifth anniversary this Spring/Summer 2019 with a limited-edition capsule collection titled “Boys Don’t Cry.” Consisting of T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts and a tote bag, the collection has been released before the New York menswear design house releases its fourth collection, “Sweet Screams.”
T-shirts and hoodies feature a unique “Boys Don’t Cry” graphic seeing an inverted color photo of a boy with a superimposed tear upon his face, placed behind a bold red international prohibition sign and flipped “Boys Don’t Cry” scripture. The reverse sees a print mimicking band tour merch, repeating “ATLANTA GA” against a list of dates, a meteor-inspired anniversary graphic and a slogan saying “The Iron Horse Tour.”
The drop sees an anniversary-special T-shirt depicting a hand placed alongside Bstroy branding and slogans and a rear print stating “BOYS DON’T CRY / SICK OF PLAYING SANE / WILL YOU BURY ME / SWEET SCREAMS / FROM A TIME AFTER NOW,” lending itself to display all of Bstroy’s associated phrases.
The star of the collection is the tote bag, incorporating the disruptive “Boys Don’t Cry” graphic on a utilitarian tote bag feature a chunky wrap-around zip.
