Mizuno has seen a resurgence in recent months following the popular release of its Wave Rider 1 silhouette, and now the Japanese performance shoe label is bringing back another OG silhouette for Spring/Summer 2019.

The Wave Creation WAVEKNIT is a high-performance running shoe from the archives that was once at the forefront of providing cutting-edge footwear technology. Two corrugated shock-absorbing plates with a futuristic floating midsole sandwich PU foam between its “infinity wave” construction, supporting a flexible knitted and plastic triple white upper.

Mizuno prides itself on the sneakers stability, support and comfort thanks to “U4icX” technology, but what is more impressive is the shoe being rereleased during a time which sees technical and trail runners amidst a colossal revival. Triple white uppers on the OG performance silhouette makes for a perfect SS19 trail sneaker, blending footwear trends and heritage with a uniquely Mizuno design.

The Mizuno Wave Creation WAVEKNIT is priced at JP¥ 20,000 (approx. $180 USD excluding tax) and is at select retailers such as Dover Street Market Ginza, atmos and Mita Sneakers sometime this March.
