Spyder Delivers Sleek Tech-wear and Retro-Inspired Streetwear for Fall/Winter 2019
Past and future coexist in this highly functional collection.
Spyder continues to make headway into sportswear and streetwear with a robust Fall/Winter 2019 collection dedicated to both categories. Combining all-weather performance with attitude, this season’s performance looks combined ergonomic cuts with high-tech body mapping and layering sensibilities for a highly wearable lineup. Chameleon color gradation and reflective abstract prints elevate the largely nocturnal color palette of Spyder’s running outfits.
Meanwhile, creative director Christopher Bevans took inspiration directly from the MTV aesthetic and the urban youth tribes of ‘90s-era England and America for the Lifestyle lineup. Comprised of tracksuits, fleece sweatshirts and oversized puffers, this clothing range wears its legacy influences proudly in the form of color blocking and geometric patchworks.
The juxtaposition between the two halves of this collection creates an intriguing contrast that is only enhanced by Bagjack founder and creative director Peter Brunsberg’s accessories designs, which include multi-pocket crossbody bags, backpacks and fanny packs in graphic color combinations.
