Off-White™'s Graphic-Heavy "Jim Stark" SS19 Collection Spotlighted in New Editorial
Drawing inspiration from Bart Simpson, Dondi White and Jim Stark.
The Off-White™ Spring/Summer 2019 “Jim Stark” collection is one of Virgil Abloh‘s most youth-inspired collections to date, tapping Bart Simpson and referencing the late New York City graffiti artist Dondi White as the collections muse.
Drawing inspiration from the 1955 film Rebel Without A Cause with the protagonist Jim Stark encouraging a collection of rebellious American youth influences, Virgil creates a graphic-heavy collection of tops, trousers, shoes and accessories that hark back to the streets of ’90s NYC.
Key items include the highly-anticipated “I’m Bart Simpson, Who The Hell Are You?” longsleeve and accompanying T-shirts, the camouflage field jacket featuring the crossed arrows motif, all-new industrial belt sneakers which fuse the brands signature yellow with fluorescent green branded piping and laces, Parachute Cargo Pants and lastly, a full-length side-zipped pair of track pants.
