RIMOWA Opens First Flagship Store in Japan
Featuring new AMBUSH designs exclusive to the boutique.

RIMOWA has infiltrated the fashion realm as a leader in luxury luggage, backed by partnerships with the likes of Off-White™, AMBUSH and Fendi in its recent repertoire. The LVMH-owned brand is continuing to make its imprint on the world, introducing its first flagship store in Japan last weekend.
RIMOWA celebrated its new Ginza 7-Chome boutique with a grand opening event to show off the 544-square-meter space, which was designed by Labvert. Guests such as Takashi Murakami, Hiroshi Fujiwara and YOON and VERBAL Ambush attended the bash, which featured a live painting demonstration by Japanese calligraphic artist MAMI. In addition to the label’s core product, RIMOWA’s personalization range and some of its recent collaborations, including with artist Olafur Eliasson, were on display. To commemorate the launch, the flagship also presented a new luggage handle and tag designed exclusively for the store by AMBUSH.
To expand its offering even further, RIMOWA recently launched a line of Apple iPhone cases created in the likeness of its aluminum suitcases.
