Reese Cooper Hits the Road With FW19 "Hitchhiking" Lookbook

A suitable follow-up to Fall/Winter 2018, “LONE PINE,” the latest from Reese Cooper is a sophisticated update to the young designer’s workwear-indebted tastes. “Hitchhiking,” Cooper’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection, is inspired by travel through rural California and other rugged American locales.
Carefully crafted by LA’s Giannetti Factory, Raccagni zipper-accented sherpa fleece and work jackets appear throughout in muted tones, accented by bold plaid shirts, heavy weight slub T-shirts and industrial belts. Each season, Cooper serves up showstopping outerwear and this collection’s centerpiece, a hefty leather bomber jacket, comes complete with cargo vest overlay and internal shoulder strap for easy carry. Underlining the personal touch that inspires the collection, everything from the raglan-sleeved sweaters to the garment-dyed cargo pants, is patched with brief excerpts from Cooper’s own life story.
