POLIQUANT Delivers FW19 Lookbook "AWKWARDNESS" Inspired by Slavoj Zizek
Featuring a tactical vest that doubles as a pillow.

The Tokyo-based brand POLIQUANT is now on its 5th season heading into Fall/Winter 2019. Known for delivering strong and youthful statements in clothing form, this upcoming FW19 “AWKWARDNESS” collection is no exception.
The collection is inspired by Slavoj Zizek and his philoshopy on “The Real” which is an external aspect of lived experience and the absolute truth. “AWKWARDNESS” employs the use of a cold earthy palette which runs through many pieces while some stand out pieces includes a neon yellow two-piece long sleeve and matching pants. The neon look is paired with a tactical vest which can convert into a pillow. The idea of functionality exists in the clever form of trench coats which convert into messenger bags and a down jacket which transforms into a neck pillow. Another notable piece is a sweater that features artwork from up-and-coming South African painter, Callan Grecia.
No details yet on when this collection will release but expect it to be hitting retailers later in the year. In the meantime, have a look at the five best collections for Copenhagen Fashion Week FW19.
