adidas Celebrates Black History Month With Harlem Renaissance-Inspired Footwear
Celebrating music, culture and sport.

With all of the NBA’s All-Star members revealed, adidas has proud representatives in James Harden and Damian Lillard. Today marks the Three Stripes’ official reveal of its All-Star themed pieces. This year, adidas receives inspiration from the Harlem Renaissance. The trio of the adidas Dame 5, Harden Vol. 3 and UltraBOOST all sport a mix of purple and orange on black bases which pay homage to the spirit of jazz that was normally celebrated in ballrooms at the time. The aforementioned mix of bold colors also honors Harlem’s effortless connection with music and the game of basketball as cultural events were always held with flash and flair.
The Black History Month editions of adidas’ UltraBOOST, Dame 5 and Harden Vol.3 are expected to arrive on February 5 at select adidas stockists and adidas.com.
