With the first batch of collections seeing the light of day, the full line-up of designers for the MONCLER Genius Project have been revealed. With several familiar faces returning, namely Craig Green, Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design, Simone Rocha, Francesco Ragazzi with Palm Angels, Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Sandro Mandrino for Moncler Grenoble, this year also sees the addition of high profile creatives to the ranks. Matthew Williams will be combining 1017 ALYX 9SM‘s uniquely technical vision with Moncler’s aesthetic, while Richard Quinn’s distinctive floral patterns will surely make for interesting visual interpretations of the brand’s outerwear offering. Another interesting development is the appointment of Veronica Leoni and Sergio Zambon to head up Moncler’s in-house offering with the consistently popular 1952 collection, which we recently got a closer look at.
Stay tuned for full reveals of collections in the coming months, and be sure to read our recent interview with Craig Green about his involvement with the project.
