Kaytranada Announces Sophomore Album 'BUBBA' & Unveils Merchandise
The project drops on December 13.
Just weeks after sharing that his sophomore LP was “finito,” acclaimed super-producer Kaytranada has now revealed the name, release date, and merchandise for the forthcoming project. Titled BUBBA, the forthcoming project is scheduled to release on December 13, which follows his critically-acclaimed full-length debut 99.9%.
To commemorate the news, the Montréal-based artist has shared the official merchandise for the project — a variety of graphic T-shirts, long sleeves, and hoodies designed by Faysal Matin and Liam MacRae. Offered up in either white or black, the various pieces have been doused with various graphics, with the opposing side featuring typographic prints that display the project’s name alongside “The Sophomore Album From Kaytranada.” The pieces are slated to drop via the artist’s webstore on December 9, with prices ranging between $35 USD and $68 USD.
While much of the album’s details remain under wraps, fans can expect to hear a new collaboration alongside Kali Uchis — a track which Kay recently teased at Intersect Festival.
