Netflix released a new trailer for its upcoming Micahel Bay-directed flick 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds. The trailer above teases key plot details without giving away too many of the forthcoming twists and turns likely to follow.
Six billionaire specialists have been chosen by Reynolds’ character (named “One”) to create an elite crime-fighting team; they were selected not only for their skill but also due to their desires to entirely obscure their pasts. As such, we see each member fake their death in order to take on the criminal underworld with complete freedom from societal restrictions.
The film promises to be a return to form for Michael Bay, who is famed for directing explosive action movies like Transformers and Bad Boys. Alongside Bay, 6 Underground was co-penned by Deadpool and Deadpool 2 screenplay duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The $150 million USD film also stars Dave Franco, Mélanie Laurent, Payman Maadi, Corey Hawkins, and more.
Look for 6 Underground to debut on Netflix this December 13.
