UNIQLO's Latest Artist Series Taps Into the 40-Year History of Star Wars

As tears may shed with the impending end of what fans know as Skywalker the Saga, UNIQLO‘s latest collaborative capsule extends the magic of the Star Wars franchise. The commemorative drop positions the series’ 40-year legacy into an offering that will pique nostalgia for longtime and new fans alike through the artistic vantage of three creatives: James Jarvis, Stash and Masumi Ishikawa.
Imbuing their individualistic prowess onto a variety of garments, the collection features aesthetic references emblazoned on hoodies and T-shirts. Iconography from the film — ranging from signature logos to infamous and beloved characters — appear throughout and are recast through the perspective of each artist.
