'Forza Horizon 4' Adds a 72-Car Battle Royale Mode
Dubbed The Eliminator.
wBattle royale games have definitely been all the hype in recent years, with the likes of Fortnite, PUBG and Apex Legends topping gaming charts time and again. Now, the Microsoft Studios racing game Forza Horizon 4 is following suit with its own battle royale mode, called The Eliminator.
The Eliminator will pitch up to 72 players against each other in a battle to be the last one standing, picking up various upgrades along the way. To eliminate your opponents, you can challenge them on a 1v1 race to a random point in the game’s take of Britain. If you’re victorious, your opponent will be eliminated, and you can pick either an upgrade for your own car or take the loser’s car completely. Like pretty much all other battle royale games, the playable area of the map will get progressively smaller, and once the last batch of survivors get small enough, they’ll be put head to head for a final free-for-all race, the winner of which will be the sole survivor and champion.
For the Forza Horizon 4 players out there, the new Eliminator game mode will come with the upcoming free update on December 12, along with a new mini-campaign and more unlockable rewards.
