Despite being barred from performing in the prison he was held at, A$AP Rocky made his triumphant return to Sweden for the first time since his arrest. Rocky and members of his crew were arrested and charged with aggravated assault following a run-in on the streets of the Scandinavian country.
Taking to Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe, the Harlem rapper performed in a giant cage to shed light on the plight of Sweden’s immigrant community, inmates and poverty-stricken population. Before the show, Rocky posted an Instagram Story to invite those who lived in the “slums” to his concert for free. “I’m in Stockholm right now. I’m throwing my concert, my first concert after being locked up out here,” he said. “Everybody from the ‘immigrant community,’ what they call the ‘immigrant community’ out here, none of y’all got to pay to come to my show today. All y’all get in for free. Whoever come, whoever from the hood, they get in free.” Making his way through the city’s “No Go Zone,” Rocky looked to connect with those struggling in thanks to those from Sweden that supported him during his incarceration.

EVEN WHEN IM DENIED ACCESS TO DONATE OR PERFORM FOR THE INMATES IN SWEDEN I STILL WANT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE IMMIGRANTS AND POOR PPL OF OUTSIDE SURROUNDING AREAS , THIS HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT JOURNEY , BUT I FEEL ITS MY TASK TO GIVE BACK TO PPL WHO SUPPORTED ME WHEN I WAS DOWN
