Bodega & Dr. Martens Come Together to Reimagine the Classic 1461 Smooth
A new take on the rugged favorite.
Adding to its growing list of collaborations, bi-coastal streetwear retailer Bodega has now teamed up with Dr. Martens to reimagine the 1461 Smooth.
Recognized worldwide for its uncompromising look, durability and comfort, the classic footwear model has been given an update. The three-eyelet leather upper is accented by a rough toe panel debossed with “BDGA.” Additional accents include Dr. Martens signature heel tabs, tonal suede heel stripes and tongue, along with thick yellow rope laces and the phrase “hidden in plain sight” debossed on the heel region. Lining the inside of the shoe are custom co-branded contrasting yellow insoles. Rounding up the design of the shoe is a Goodyear-Welt that heat-seals and sews the sole and upper together paired with a rugged air-cushioned sole that offers good abrasion and slip-resistance.
