Atmos Remixes PUMA's RS-X in Honor of Japanese Tradition
Patent leather uppers punch up a series of heritage-indebted colors.

THREE TIDES TATTOO affiliate Ukiyoemon Mitomoya realized a bespoke drawing in line with atmos’ design that incorporates imagery and colors associated with historic Japanese artwork. In it, bold red, green and yellow hues inform a scene of a sword-wielding, sneaker-wearing samurai posing in front of an atmos-branded flag and a drawing of the shoe itself, compacted inside a gilded frame.
Identical tones to those seen in Mitomoya’s artwork appear on the clunky RS-X sneaker, executed in patent leather for maximum visual impact. The tall pull tabs on the tongue, hefty midsole and grippy outsole remain intact, while stark stripes on the upper underline the artistic inspiration behind the shoe’s design.
The special RS-X sneaker colorway is exclusively available on atmos’ web store for ¥14,000 USD.
Meanwhile, atmos recently introduced an exclusive wool-trimmed ASICS GEL-PTG MT sneaker.
