ASICS Drops Cream-Colored Woolen GEL-PTG MT Sneakers
An atmos exclusive.
Following a low-cut translucent iteration of the GEL-PTG MT, ASICS is back with the latest revamp of the silhouette. This time around, the sneakers come in a high-top build, covered in delicate cream-colored wool for the current winter season.
Boasting a mix of wool, rubber and suede textiles, the sneakers are a modern take of the original 1983 “FABREPOINTGETTER” mold. The top of the shoe is stamped with “ASICS” branding over crisp white suede, followed by tonal laces that cross over the forefoot. Soft fleece textiles cover the uppers, from the collars to the midsole. Contrasting the beige material, the upper heel counter is thinly embroidered with navy “GEL” branding. One defining feature is the bright red sidestripes, accenting the body all the way from the heel to the forefoot. The toebox comes in white suede, accented with subtle perforations. All of these details sit atop a tonal white midsole, equipped with an Ortholite insole and fuzeGEL at the heel wedge for enhanced cushioning.
The ASICS GEL-PTG MT is exclusively available at atmos-tokyo.com for $129 USD.
