Asics continues its output of progressive silhouettes with a semi-translucent footwear iteration. Featured is a unique GEL-PTG NEXKIN done up in low and mid-top version.

Drawing inspiration from the classic Fabre Point Getter silhouette from 1983, this footwear piece has been imagined through atmos’ distinctive lens. The sneaker bears the same shape as the aforementioned shoe, except that the uppers have been rendered slightly see-through, enabling the wearer to change the look of the sneaker according to the color of their socks. Both the mid-tops and lows come with “Asics” branding at the tongue, crisp white leather lace cage and glossy black rubber side stripes. “GEL” is placed over the upper heel panel, while tonal stitching appears near the upper rear collar. As a finishing touch, the sneaker comes with a retro cream-colored midsole etched with pronounced treading near the forefoot.

The GEL-PTG MT NEXKIN and GEL-PTG NEXKIN “White/Black” are exclusively available at atmos-tokyo.com for $101 USD and $111 USD, respectively.

Elsewhere, Nike has brought back its latest Air Max 720 colorway, clad in red and blue hues.
