Trippie Redd Reveals His Vulnerable Side on 'A Love Letter to You 4'
Featuring appearances from DaBaby, Tory Lanez, Juice WRLD & more.

Trippie Redd has dropped off A Love Letter to You 4, the latest installment in the rapper’s A Love Letter to You mixtape series following its 2018 predecessor. The lengthy 21-track project sees a stacked list of guest appearances from the likes of Lil Mosey in “This Ain’t That,” Juice WRLD and YNW Melly in “6 Kiss,” Chris King and Quanta in “You Deserve It,” YoungBoy Never Broke Again in “Hate Me,” Smokepurpp in “All For Me,” Tory Lanez in “Sickening,” DaBaby in “Death” and Lil Yachty and Pi’erre Bourne in “M’s.”
Staying in line with the theme of the mixtape series, A Love Letter to You 4 chronicles the ups and downs of relationships. The project proves to be a timely release for the 20-year-old rapper as he moves on fresh from a breakup, but the situation also allows him to navigate his return to the single life. He opens the mixtape with the acoustic-tinged “Leray” (named after his ex-girlfriend), narrating a letter that explains his afterthoughts and sets the tone for the next few cuts. Within the despair of his emotions, however, Redd is able to return to his regular state and exhibit what he does best in the booth, utilizing topics we’re more accustomed to in his studio albums. Love hurts and he acknowledges it, but Redd isn’t one to put his life on pause for a failed relationship — he knows he’s got better things to do.
