AMBUSH Sets Its SS20 Collection in a Futuristic Neon Daze

After just announcing its new line ARTISANAL, Tokyo-based label AMBUSH has returned with a new lookbook for Spring/Summer 2020. The latest visuals have been set behind a hazy neon backdrop, spotlighting a wide array of avant-garde styles.
Blending seamlessly into the set, the collection encompasses a series of conceptual garments that have been refined with a technical edge. Featured pieces include an elongated vest and hoodie, checkered leather trucker jackets, silver-toned biker jackets, leather blazers, oversized trench coats, boiler suits and flight jackets, to name a few.
One noteworthy piece is the GETA Sandals, a unique futuristic twist on Geta, traditional Japanese wooden sandals. The GETA Sandals is set on a chunky midsole block that comes with a glossy finish. Smooth black leather is applied to the uppers, covering the flat footbed and the hanao straps. Other highlights like the studded red leather blazer and multi-colored biker jackets demonstrate the label’s affinity for bold styling, while pieces like the white boiler suit and tactical vests add a sense of functionality to the lineup. Lastly, garments like the high-cut blazers, pleated trousers, billowy coats, bomber jackets and button-ups round up the expansive assemblage.
