AMBUSH Announces New Label, ARTISANAL
The limited collection will be released later this month.

Known for its quirky jewelry line, contemporary Japanese label AMBUSH — founded by designers VERBAL and YOON — has just announced a new endeavour dubbed “ARTISANAL.”
YOON posted the news via her Instagram account citing the new label will “focus on Japanese craftsmanship and art of having fun.” The post features a picture of an olive green bomber jacket which has been embellished with a bevy of crocheted animal dolls. In addition to this piece the collection is also said to include a denim jean jacket crafted with a patchwork of knit fabric on the back, along with other outerwear choices. Knit sweaters, T-shirts, pants and winter accessories will also be up for grabs.
Additionally the designer shared that products from “ARTISANAL” will be produced in limited quantities and can only be purchased exclusively at the AMBUSH WORKSHOP in Tokyo starting on November 22. The Doll jacket will retail for ¥400,000 JPY + tax (approximately $3,683 USD) while the denim jacket will be sold for ¥100,000 yen + tax (approximately $920 USD). Earlier last month, AMBUSH reworked Converse’s Chuck 70 and Pro Leather silhouettes.
