YOON and Mattel Reconfigure Barbie With Cyberpunk Aesthetics and a Robot Companion
The high-concept release merges anime influences, street style, and a custom articulated robot cat
Mattel has officially launched the Signature Barbie Signature x Yoon Ahn Doll. Designed in partnership with fashion designer YOON of AMBUSH, the exclusive collector release explores a high-tech vision for the iconic doll, drawing inspiration from anime, street culture, and futuristic design.
Conceptualized by doll designer Suim Noh with custom packaging crafted by Diana Leto, the collectible debuts an all-new sculpted body paired with the Kit face sculpt. Built around a robotic aesthetic, the figure incorporates clean minimalist paneling and features 13 points of articulation for structured display poses.
Accompanying the doll is a dedicated pet robot cat engineered with six points of articulation. Released as part of the Barbie Signature line via Mattel Creations, each set comes packaged with a specialized display stand and an official Certificate of Authenticity.
