AMBUSH Crafts Rugged Reworks of Converse's Chuck 70 & Pro Leather
Inspired by the Extreme Cold Weather Boot.
Following its Nike Air Max 180 Hi collaboration, AMBUSH has now teamed up with Converse to craft rugged reworks of the footwear label’s Chuck 70 and Pro Leather models.
Drawing inspiration from the Extreme Cold Weather Boot, designer Yoon Ahn built on the rubber military boot produced by Converse in the ’50s to create exaggerated tonal styles. The Chuck 70 has been given a heightened platform midsole which accents the pure white rubberized upper defined by matte black branding detailing, a gusseted tongue and matching laces.
While the Pro Leather features a rubberized black upper complete with a tonal 3D Converse Star Chevron logo, gusseted tongue and monochromatic black laces. Elevating the shoe is contrast yellow “AMBUSH” branded sole unit.
