Japanese labels Fumito Ganryu and Suicoke have collaborated on a concise set of modular footwear. Designed with a special focus on function, each piece in the range includes a breathable sockliner that can be removed.
Coming in colors of black and white, triple black and black and brown, the silhouette features an adjustable strap at the heel that can be opened up for removing or locking in the sockliner. Subtleties like thin top-stitching have been placed around the edges of the tongue and along the rear quarter straps to offset its minimal look. At the sides, small perforations appear at the lower walls and heel strap, complemented by “Suicoke” branding at the back. All of these details sit atop an articulated midsole, underscored by a thin outsole.
Though no official release dates have been announced, the Fumito Ganryu x Suicoke Back Strap Slip-On is expected to arrive at select Ganryu stockists for $258 USD.
