Netflix has renewed The Witcher for a second season ahead of its series premiere this December. Additional cast members, the next season’s storyline, and release date remain under wraps, with Netflix simply sharing a photo of Geralt’s silver and steel swords with the caption, “Geralt’s adventure is only beginning.”

The TV series adaptation will focus more on the source material of Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels rather than CD Projekt Red‘s games, and currently features Henry Cavill as Geralt, Freya Allan as Ciri and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. Although the show will adapt the books, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich included Geralt’s iconic bathtub cutscene from The Witcher 3 game which has since spawned numerous memes.

The Witcher premieres December 20 exclusively on Netflix.

In other entertainment news, Netflix will be releasing a SpongeBob SquarePants spin-off starring Squidward Tentacles.
