Yungeen Ace Shares His Story in New 'Through the Pain' Documentary
His ‘Step Harder’ tape is almost here.
With his anticipated new Step Harder mixtape on the way, Jacksonville superstar-in-the-making Yungeen Ace is giving his fast-growing fanbase an expansive look at his background and his life’s pain-stricken story for a fittingly-titled documentary dubbed Through the Pain. Separated into three parts, Ace’s Through the Pain piece was created with the intention of giving viewers unique insight into how its subject deals with “loss, adversity, pain and prison” as he swiftly rises through the the ranks of stardom.
“One minute you are in New York City with Ace, following him on a press run for his new project and the next, at his brothers grave for the first time since surviving the horrific drive by shooting that took his brother and two best friends, which he also describes in chilling detail,” reads an official statement. “With the weight of the world on his shoulders, this documentary leaves you rooting for Yungeen Ace, and praying he can take the next crucial step to becoming an A-list Hip Hop legend.”
“I’ve already been through so much in so little time,” Yungeen Ace previously told us. “At 21, I’ve experienced more pain than people twice my age – but I know that’s what makes me special. God wanted to make sure I was battle tested and war ready, and now I know nothing can stop me. I’ve already dealt with death, prison, violence, poverty and abuse – what else can the devil do to stop me? Every time I think he has one up on me, God shows me he has a bigger plan.”
“There’s been a lot of negativity around me this past year. There were attempts on my life, and I lost mud brothers and blood brothers,” Yungeen Ace added in another quote. “But now…I feel untouchable and I need everybody to know that I’m prepared to match their same energy … I ain’t never stopping, I’m on they neck now you feel me- this is the year of ATK.”
