With another week up, we now have a new installment of our product drops series, this time marked by Supreme‘s Fall/Winter 2019 Week 12 release.

Keeping the collaborations coming, Supreme is back with the estate of late New York artist Martin Wong and RIMOWA. The second installment of the New York-base skate brand’s fledgling relationship with the LVMH owned luggage purveyor dresses the Check-In L and Cabin Plus models with a familiar spiderweb pattern. The Martin Wong collaboration pays homage to the artist’s documentation of the urban environment and brick facades of the Lower East Side.

Aside from Supreme’s FW19 Week 12 Drop, this week we have Palace‘s diverse Winter 2019 Week 7 release, an impressive array of special rollouts and collaborations that make up a selection of must-have street staples.

Some notable collabs this week include an unexpected team-up between BAPE and Pagani, along with an homage to western heritage from Timberland and Lee.  Moncler is also launching the Moncler House of Genius–temporary concept stores Milan, Paris and Tokyo open until the end of January 2020. Lacoste playfully reimagined its signature logo with its “Croco Magic” capsule and both Fucking Awesome and ROKIT are back with the latest drops of their Holiday 2019 collections.

Moncler House of Genius

Looking to push the limits of retail and innovating the customer experience, Moncler recently launched the Moncler House of Genius–temporary concept stores that are open in Milan, Paris and Tokyo until the end of January 2020. The Moncler House of Genius locations have been personally designed by Artistic Director Francesco Ragazzi to look like open art galleries that can continuously be updated.

The special retail spaces will hold a series of live events and creative sessions starring international headliners. Additionally, the location will feature all the Genius lines together with exclusive pieces with forthcoming collections to be added as drop dates approach. Moncler has prepared limited-edition apparel and tech accessories marked with dedicated city crests and vending machines stocked with one of a kind T-shirts and canvas bags designed by the eleven Moncler Geniuses.

Some standout items include a multi-paneled trucker jacket, water-repellent parka, denim chore coats, roll-up backpack and six-inch waterproof boots. It is interesting to note many of the items found in the capsule also utilize recycled linen and organic cotton to deliver an eco-friendly element.

Paying homage to the ’90s and Notorious B.I.G., the range is filled with puffer jackets, quarter zips, sweatshirts and long-sleeve T-shirts and more. A standout is a retro letterman jacket sporting “ROKIT” branding down its sleeves, while track pants boast two-toned paneling. T-shirts are emblazoned with lyrics from Biggie’s “The What” and an eye-catching graphic depicting a basketball hoop engulfed in flames.

Supreme Fall 2019 Collection Week 12

Back with Week 12 of its FW19 collection, the latest drop from Supreme is marked by a collaboration with the estate of late New York artist Martin Wong and RIMOWA.

Coming together for a second team-up, Supreme has tapped the LVMH owned luggage purveyor for new takes on the Check-In L and Cabin Plus. This time around, the popular carrying options feature silver aluminum bodies covered with a black anodized coating and marked with a spiderweb pattern from Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection in contrasting white, along with a subtle Supreme logo in smaller print at its back. The inside of each suitcase is also lined with viscose jacquard fabric featuring a Supreme monogram print. Rounding up the designs are RIMOWA’s Multiwheel® system wheels, TSA combination locks, two internal Flex-Divider systems and a co-branded leather luggage tag.

Continuing its series of artist collaborations, Supreme looked to honor the influential art of the late Martin Wong whose art documented the urban environment and brick facades of the Lower East Side and often included inspiration from Nuyorican poet and playwright Miguel Piñero. The special capsule is comprised of two Rayon shirts, a long-sleeve shirt, three T-shirts, two skate decks and a beanie emblazoned with Wong’s iconic artworks.

Notable wearables found in the Drop 12 range include the Leather Collar Puffy Jacket, Rhinestone Script Hooded Sweatshirt, Mountain Crewneck and Longsleeve Pocket T-shirt. Supreme has also prepared a Camo Leather Hooded Jacket and Camo Leather 5-Pocket Pants, along with a Top Logo Denim Camp Cap, Washed Velvet Bell Hat and Basic Beanie. Unfortunately, this week’s release does not feature a boldly branded accessory but a Pledge Allegiance Pin in gold and silver color options rounds up the Week 12 drop.
