The World's Largest Starbucks is Opening in Chicago
Doors open November 15.

Coffee lovers rejoice — Starbucks is about to open its largest branch in the world on Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Spanning 35,000 square feet across five stories, Chicago’s latest Reserve Roastery is the company’s sixth and biggest one to date. With stunning interior design, patrons are greeted with all kinds of coffee-related machinery, including the shop’s centerpiece: a 56-foot steel cask where coffee beans rest and de-gas after being roasted.
Of course, aside from being a spectacle for your eyes, the Roastery also presents an exceptional experience for your taste buds and nose. The Roastery offers several different brewing methods, from classic French pressed to siphon coffee, and serves specialty coffee beverages that are only available at Reserve Roasteries.
If you’ve satisfied your coffee cravings, the branch also holds an Arriviamo™ Bar which crafts a whole array of cocktails inspired by the city of Chicago. For a bite, you can head to the Italian bakery Princi within the store, offering a range of pastries, breads and pizzas. Finally, for the sweet-tooths out there, Chicago’s Reserve Roastery is the only branch in the US serving on-demand liquid nitrogen gelato, best enjoyed with a Reserve coffee.
For those lucky enough to be in Chicago or happen to be in the neighborhood, the world’s largest Starbucks Reserve Roastery will open for business November 15.
Elsewhere in food and beverages, McDonald’s has launched a seasonal Snickerdoodle McFlurry.
