Browns & Ahluwalia Studio Unite for Exclusive Capsule
Taking influence from literature important to the designer.

Browns has partnered with London-based emerging designer Priya Ahluwalia for an exclusive capsule through her Ahluwalia Studio label. The collection sees Ahluwalia continue to develop themes from her previous collections, including the influence of her dual Indian-Nigerian heritage, growing up in London and ways of reusing unwanted or deadstock clothing.
For this 10-piece capsule, Ahluwalia has particularly taken inspiration from works of literature that are important her. Colin Jones’ The Black House and Clarks in Jamaica by Al Fingers are both reference points due to the way they focus on Caribbean male identity.
Stand-out items include reconstructed shirts, waistcoats and vests, while the capsule also sees Ahluwalia continue to work with tailoring and denim. The full Ahluwalia Studio x Browns collection is available now from the Browns web store.
