VERDY Brings VICK to Mercedes-Benz for a Studio-Exclusive Tokyo Capsule

VERDY and Mercedes-Benz have introduced “VERDY meets Mercedes-Benz STUDIO TOKYO,” an art project whose debut capsule collection fuses the graphic artist’s character work with the marque’s design language. The first release stays deliberately tight, centered on two T-shirt designs and a keyring, and it lands exclusively at Mercedes-Benz STUDIO TOKYO.
The collection splits across two T-shirts with very different footprints. The VERDY x Mercedes-Benz STUDIO TOKYO T-shirt keeps things restrained, offered in just White and Black. The VICK x G-Class T-shirt goes the opposite direction, arriving in a deep run of ten colorways: Black/Blue, White/Green, White/Blue, White/Yellow, White/Orange, White/White, White/Pink, White/Gray, White/Red and White/Black. Rounding out the merchandise is the VERDY x Mercedes-Benz STUDIO TOKYO Keyring, produced as a single style.
From September 12 to 27, the studio is staging a “VICK x G-Class” artwork built around VERDY’s original character VICK set against the G-Class, along with a pair of specially finished art cars. The next-generation CLA carries the VICK character while the G-Class wears a second VERDY character named VISTY, and each vehicle is dressed in an original camouflage pattern drawn by the artist.
The first “VERDY meets Mercedes-Benz STUDIO TOKYO” capsule goes on sale September 12 exclusively at Mercedes-Benz STUDIO TOKYO, with the accompanying exhibition running through September 27.
