Sneakersnstuff Announces Tokyo Flagship Opening in December
The wait for the sneaker store’s first locale in Asia is almost over.
After Sneakersnstuff confirmed a Tokyo store would arrive at the end of 2019 as a way to expand into the Japanese market, the Stockholm-based sneaker store has officially announced that the first SNS store in Asia will open on December 14. Located on Log Road in Daikanyama, the building will encompass three buildings and feature an SNS cafe.
Designed by Jenny Askenfors of Bofink Design, the lead designer of all SNS design and architecture, the store’s interior blends traditional and contemporary Japanese aesthetics with a Swedish and Scandinavian heritage style. The store decor features furniture handcrafted by Swedish and European artists, along with 3D printed pieces that will be on show at SNS Tokyo’s flagship opening.
Tokyo will be the seventh city for Sneakersnstuff, joining Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Paris, London and Stockholm. Sneakersnstuff’s key brands and collaborations will be available at the December opening, along with custom SNS Tokyo products.
