Louis Vuitton Unveils 2019 Davis Cup Trophy Trunk
The prestigious trophy will be awarded this weekend in Spain.
After being named the official Davis Cup Trophy Partner earlier this year, Louis Vuitton has now unveiled the trophy trunk that houses the prestigious tennis award.
The LV tailor-made trunk was handcrafted by skilled artisans in Louis Vuitton’s workshop in Asnières, France and rests on the trophy’s massive ornate base. The top portion forms a circular shape, which has been crafted from the French Luxury house’s signature Monogram Macassar LV canvas. Additionally silver clasps elevate the final look of this prized carrier. LV’s travel case will be used to transport and present the Davis Cup trophy over the next four years.
The World Champions will be awarded the 2019 Davis Cup Trophy when the tournament ends on November 24 at the Caja Mágica de Madrid in Spain.
