Louis Vuitton has unveiled the official bespoke Trophy Trunk for the FIFA World Cup 2026, continuing its long-standing tradition of crafting presentation cases for the world’s most iconic sporting awards. Handcrafted in the Maison’s historic Asnières workshops near Paris, the trunk is covered in the signature Monogram canvas and features a golden “V” motif symbolizing both “Victory” and “Vuitton.” Gold-plated brass corner protectors, clasps, and a lock echo the brand’s heritage trunks dating back to the 1860s, while the interior is lined in light beige leather with a partnership logo patch marking the collaboration with FIFA.
The Trophy Trunk will make its debut on the pitch during the final World Cup match, guided by Louis Vuitton Ambassadors and a FIFA legend — a ceremonial moment that has become iconic since the brand’s first involvement in 2010. This collaboration underscores Louis Vuitton’s commitment to excellence and prestige, reinforcing the narrative that “Victory travels in Louis Vuitton.” The trunk not only protects the world’s most coveted prize but also symbolizes the fusion of heritage craftsmanship and the global spirit of football.
Alongside the bespoke Trophy Trunk, Louis Vuitton has introduced a limited-edition collection of three iconic trunks inspired by the design. These include the Coffret 8 Montres for watch storage, the Cotteville 16 Montres dedicated to horology, and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110, each adorned with Monogram canvas and hand-painted FIFA World Cup Trophy graphics. Personalized with owners’ initials, these creations expand Louis Vuitton’s “Art of Travel” into the realm of sport, celebrating both the Maison’s savoir-faire and the cultural significance of football’s ultimate prize.
