KAPITAL Unveils '40s Wool L-FIVE Varsity Jackets
Vintage collegiate-inspired.
Following its bandana-clad Chelsea boots, KAPITAL has returned with a set of new vintage inspirations for FW19 — ’40s Wool L-FIVE Varsity Jackets.
Coming in colorways of white, green and black, the collegiate jackets boast a delicate wool base fabric with a look and feel reminiscent of the ’40s. Covering the left half of the upper chest, a large “L” patch is detailed with a small motif of a harp followed by sections of a yellow smiley face below. Two welt pockets with leather trim are placed below, complemented by tonal snap buttons at the center. The back of the jacket is covered with four of the aforementioned “L” patches, alternating between motifs of harps and footballs. Other details like thick leather sleeves and thin stripes at the collar, hem and cuffs round up the retro design.
