Shanghai's DOE & adidas Consortium Fuse the UltraBOOST 19 & Micropacer
In celebration of DOE’s fifth anniversary.

In celebration of its fifth anniversary, Shanghai-based boutique DOE has teamed up with adidas Consortium for a new silhouette that fuses elements of the UltraBOOST 19 and Micropacer. Based on a concept of “0 to 1,” DOE’s co-created design is all about breaking to build — namely, pulling key pieces from the UltraBOOST and the Micropacer, then melding them together to create a new-yet-familiar style.
The shoe’s Primeknit upper is dressed almost entirely in a soft grey shade, with the only deviation arriving via a small patch of ice blue on the heel. This sock-like top half is then overlaid by a one-piece grey synthetic sheath that combines the regular UltraBOOST 19’s midfoot cage with the Micropacer’s large throat cover. With laces nowhere to be found, this alternate construction provides support as well as style, all while equipping DOE branding on the right foot and a standard adidas hit on the left foot.
Co-branded tongue tags and insoles add further flair, and are accompanied by sultry crimson hues on both the sockliner and heel clip. Down below, a signature full-foot white BOOST midsole and black Continental rubber outsole complete the look.
The DOE x adidas Consortium UltraBOOST 19/Micropacer is priced at ¥27,000 JPY (approximately $247 USD) and will release exclusively in-store at atmos Sendagaya on November 8. This will be accompanied by a DOE pop-up that runs until November 10, during which customers can enter a lottery to win a friends & family iteration of the hybrid silhouette. A global release is scheduled for November 21.
