Latest TV Spot for 'The Mandalorian' Reveals Nick Nolte as an Ugnaught
‘Star Wars’ first live-action series launches alongside Disney+ on November 12.
Disney+‘s upcoming Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian is on the precipice of release, and following the last TV spot that introduced actress Ming-Na Wen’s character Shand, the latest commercial for the series reveals actor Nick Nolte voicing an Ugnaught.
Fans knew Nick Nolte would be involved in the series somehow, but his character had never been revealed prior to his appearance in the footage above (at the 44-second mark). The show is set to feature a star-studded cast that includes Pedro Pascal in the titular role alongside Giancarlo Esposito, Werner Herzog, and Taika Waititi.
It’s unclear what role the alien creature will play in the show, but Pascal explained in an interview that The Mandalorian will not be strictly defined by the characteristics of good and evil. “They separate good and evil so perfectly in the world of Star Wars. And in this one it’s like we’re way more at the center,” Pascal explained. “We’re past those borders, and past those very, very linear, very specific lines of definition.”
Check out the footage above and catch The Mandalorian when it launches alongside Disney+ on November 12.
In other entertainment news, actor James Dean will be brought back to life in CGI form for a Vietnam movie.
