NBA on TNT‘s Tip-Off Pop-Up series made its way to San Francisco recently, continuing the network’s celebration of Opening Week. Taking place on October 23 and 24, the two-day event provided attendees with access to jersey customizations and clutch swag during the day, while the night brought out live music sets and the chance to watch the Golden State Warriors take on the Clippers.
The experience took place at Nice Kicks‘ outpost on historic Haight Street. Inside the store, the retail space was transformed with curated displays to represent the game and NBA on TNT’s connection to it. The centerpiece, however, was an installation from artist Victor Solomon, featuring his signature basketball hoops reimagined as opulent works of art, rounding out the immersive design direction. Warriors jerseys were also on hand, along with specially-designed patches to adorn the garments and basketball-themed giveaways.
For night one, the energy turned up as the sun went down with DJ Noodles setting the vibes. Following her set, Bay Area rapper Guapdad 4000 took to the stage to perform a medley of songs for fans. The second night was equally as hype with AUX CORD spinning before the Clippers and Warriors game watch party.
