The Batmobile From Tim Burton's 1989 'Batman' Receives Lego Treatment
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic film.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman, LEGO has immortalized the Batmobile from the iconic film the toy brick treatment for Black Friday.
Measuring over 23” long, the Batmobile LEGO model features over 3,300 pieces and features a wraparound windshield element that slides to reveal the interior of the car. Other standout elements include decorative grappling hooks on both sides of the vehicle and two hidden machine guns under the hood that pop-up when the car’s turbine exhaust is turned. Decorative detailing on the sleek black Batmobile comes in the form of Bat emblems on the wheel trim and set of specially designed tires.
Accompanying the car is a Batman Minifigure with a cape modeled after the cowl seen in the 1989 film, along with a newly designed Joker and Vicki Vale Minifigures. The 1989 Batman 30th anniversary Batmobile comes complete with a rotating display with an attached information plate that details the car’s stats and a Minifigure display stand to house the three included Minifigures.
Priced at $250 USD, LEGO’s 1989 Batman Batmobile is set to release at LEGO Stores and on lego.com November 29. Additionally, those who purchase the model set between November 29 and December 5 will receive an exclusive mini replica of the Batmobile, while quantities last.
