Al Pacino Stars in Jordan Peele-Produced 'Hunters' Series for Amazon
The Jordan Peele-produced series about hunting down Nazis.
Amazon Prime Video has finally released the trailer for the Jordan Peele-produced series about eradicating nazi’s called Hunters. The show stars Al Pacino as Meyer Offerman—a man at the head of a team of street-level vigilantes that hunt nazi’s following the fall of Adolf Hitler in 1977’s New York City. After the team discovers hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials secretly living in the United States, the team bands together to kill them one by one before they can establish their plans for a Fourth Reich.
The 10-episode series was created by David Weil and executive produced by Peele and will feature American Horror Story‘s Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directing the first episode. “When David Weil first shared The Hunt with me, I immediately knew that we had to be involved,” Peele originally said when Amazon initially picked up the series. “It’s cathartic. It’s noir. It’s frighteningly relevant. It’s exactly what I want to see on television. I am thrilled to be working with Amazon in bringing this incredible vision to the world.”
Check out the trailer above, then check Hunters when it premieres on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
In other entertainment news, Apple abruptly canceled the premiere of Anthony Mackie and Samuel L. Jackson’s The Banker.
